lukasamd
Hello, I use Immunet Plus in Windows 7 Professional x64. Immunet makes 2 processes: agent.exe and iptray.exe, both 64-bit. Everything looks good but... I can simply kill these processes by windows task manager! Is there any self-defense in 64-bit version of Immunet? On Windows x86 this operation is not possible, but other programs such as Norton, BitDefender, ESET are able to protect its processes, even 64-bit. Guest Orlando
No, in this version (2) there isn't self-protection, it might be in the version 3.0 Just a suppose. Orlando
Guest Francois
Security program without self-protection?
Guest Orlando
Some vendors haven't got self-protection, Immunet is young and isn't vulnerable with some malware, but in the future we will add self-protection. Orlando
bellgamin
An antivirus killer is most often the payload of a trojan. If my AV program allows a trojan to gain entry & execute, then my AV DESERVES to die. R.I.P.
