Miss Detecting Benign Executables That Can Modify Other Apps

Recommended Posts

Hi

What I am pointing out has been an issue with many anti virus

applications for a long time.

Most or possibly all Game training applications

have the purpose of modifying some parameters in

a running Video game to achieve a hedge.

Immunet like other anti virus applications

incorrectly flags these as Malware??

On my PC today I down loaded two such Training

applications. Sure enough Immunet flagged them

both as malware??

If anything they might be flagged as possible

malware.

Sir,

If you send a copy of the files to support@immunet.com or use the FP submission tool found at http://www.immunet.com/contact/index.html using the "submit a false positive" from the drop down, we'll inspect the files.

Thanks,
