WacoJohn
When I try to create a SCHEDULED SCAN, I attempt a CUSTOM scan first. I set the Date and TIME and for location, select F:/. Click CREATE and get an error message: file or folder does not exist. Options: Save Cancel If Save, challenged for windows credentials. My WINDOWS user name is automatically filled in (OWNER) and there is a field for a windows user password, but I do not have a windows user password. If I leave the password field blank, I get "user name and password not valid". Try FULL SCAN and click CREATE, get same requirement for Windows Credentials. I called the Tech Support number. The technician accessed my computer and experienced the same problems. He said to fix the problem would require a paid service ticket. I declined. Tried submitting a support ticket, under CONTACT US at the website. .. filled it out in detail, and got an error: Sorry, "store.immunet.com" does not exist or could not be found The website you are looking for may be experiencing problems, is temporarily unavailable, or there was a typing error in the address. Error: (DNS), click the back button to try another link. so, here I am in the forum.
Guest Armin Pasalic
Hello Waco. You need to send an Diagnostic Report to a Moderator/Admin. How do I get the report? Its easy, go to start > All Programs > and search for Immunet Folder. There you find a Diagnostic Tool. After you got the report, use PM(Personel Message) to Pedersen. Cheers! Thanks, but to my surprise, the tech support ticket I submitted online went through IN SPITE of the error I got when I submited it. Here is their reply: "Dear Sir, I must apologize. Forcing a username/password is a result of security company who assumed everyone is as paranoid as us. This oversight is scheduled to be fixed in the next 30 days. You can either wait for the upgrade or create a second account with a username and password on it."

sweidre
Hi Waco John, If I schedule a scan in Immunet FREE, I am asked to enter a user name and a password of my computer. The password is the current one, but regarding the user name I have to enter a very old user name used months ago. Note, the user name is not the one in Immunet! So this must be an error in my operating system, that is keeping "my old user name for logging in" somewhere! Strange, indeed! Cheers, sweidre

Cheers, sweidre Well, .. as far as I know, my user name for 'my computer' is what XP calls an account name .. which in my case is OWNER. I do not HAVE a password for XP. Sooo, I guess we have to go by the email I got: "Dear Sir, I must apologize. Forcing a username/password is a result of security company who assumed everyone is as paranoid as us. This oversight is scheduled to be fixed in the next 30 days. You can either wait for the upgrade or create a second account with a username and password on it." and wait for an update.
