phil101
Hello, i'm not seeing anything specifying that it is illegal to use Immunet in any form of business environment: https://www.immunet.com/eula/index.html So, if i were to install the software in a 'for profit business' scenario, would it be illegal or not? If so, please point to me in the EULA where it is stated. thanks!
ritchie58
It use to be that Immunet wasn't licensed for any for-profit entities to use but you're right! I couldn't find anything either in the EULA that prohibited the use of Immunet in a for-profit environment. So I have to assume that the devs have either changed their minds on this and are now allowing it or that information was accidentally omitted in the currently posted EULA. Either way I too would like official clarification on this subject. If you use a multiple endpoint environment Immunet does have an enterprise version called "AMP for Endpoints" that would much better suit your needs! It will provide a much more robust security solution than Immunet. Plus, AMP is extremely more configurable to your own particular needs (compared to Immunet) and is easily deployed to multiple endpoints. With Immunet you will have to write your own group policy install scripts for an installation on multiple machines simultaneously. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/security/amp-for-endpoints/index.html Bottom line is if you want to use Immunet in that manner there's no legal disclaimer to state otherwise unless a revision to the EULA is added later.
