ImAwesomeLee
Every time I install this it locks up at the same point, I have attempted it on two separate machines, both my PC and My laptop. Both are Windows 7 x64 I have included some screenshots below showing where it locks up in the install process as well as all process running along side it. Rob.T
Hi ImAwesomeLee, I've been testing Win7_SP1 compatibility issues and trying to reproduce your install crash, and so far I haven't been able to. Can you provide any more info? 1) What mode are you trying to install in - Free/Clam/Trial/Pro? 2) Is UAC enabled/disabled? 3) Does your windows account have administrator access? ImAwesomeLee
I was trying to install the Trial version, UAC is enabled on one Disabled on the other, and I have administrator access on both.
ImAwesomeLee
I have now attempted all three install types and still have it freezing @ the same point.
Rob.T
Hi Lee, can you please try this: 1) Clear C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp. From the screenshot of the installer it looks like its failing to extract DIFxAPI.dll to the temp directory - clearing it should remove any wierd file locks or windows permissions that might be in the way. 2) Run the installer. Please use a fresh copy of the installer from http://www.immunet.com/free/index.html. 3) If (when) the installer fails, please grab me a copy of C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\immpro_install.log, zip it along with the installer, and mail it to support at immunet dot com, with the subject "For RobT - formumtopic=823" and I'll see what I can dig up.
