Immunet 3 Causes Firefox V4 Install Errors

Recommended Posts

I have tried several attempts (perhaps 5 or 6) to install Firefox V4 with the monitor installation option turned on in Immunet 3 when installing Firefox v4 on a Win7 Home Professional machine. This causes several problems: 1. A very slow install. 2. Very poor or inoperable Firefox program. (The program may launch twice or not at all when clicking the program icon, bookmarks are lost or no longer available - will not import or restore, not all features of the program will operate, add-ons are inoperable.) Turning the monitoring function off allows for fast install of the program and proper operation after the program (Firefox v4) is installed.

Set "Blocking Mode" off, it won't compromise detections.

Are you using Immunet Protect PLUS with ClamAV engine enabled?

With this question "Are you using Immunet Protect PLUS with ClamAV engine enabled?" I wanted to make sure that ClamAV and TETRA Engines don't cause slow.

Hi Waynezat, I've been trying to reproduce this but so far I haven't been able to. Are you using Win7 64bit? If so it sounds like it might be similar to the issues 3.0.0 has with with iTunes, Netflix, and Thunderbird. Would you mind giving the 3.0.1 beta a try and see if it fixes your install issues? It can be found here:
