Kyle
I've been downloading and installing Windows 7 Sp1 for about the last 1 and a half hours, Immunet is flashing away while it scans legitimate microsoft files... This is farrrrrr to long, I'm using adsl2+ this should of been done in 5 mins.
ritchie58
Kyle, Have you tried to disable Monitor Program Install to see if that has any effect? Or completely disable Immunet. You would not believe the hassle I had trying to install SP1. After the first attempt my OS was really messed up because of corrupted and/or missing files! Tried a second time, no luck. Got my OS repaired (thought I would have to do a clean reinstall of Win 7) and SP1 installed the third time around with a lot of help from an outside source. It does take some time to download and install SP1. I completely disabled IMP during the 3rd install just to be on the safe side.

Nah, I just terminated immunets processes. Immunet needs to do something about this quickly as Sp1 just came out yesterday and for any casual users this would be a nightmare. Hi Kyle, In my mind, you should listen to the advice of Ritchie, because he got a real major problem when installing SP1. Then I will just add, that your estimation 5 mins is too optimistic! For me downloading of SP1 took 30 mins and installing about 15 mins. I have ADSL Win 7 Pro 64-bit. Cheers, sweidre
