dallas7
Good work and Thanks! Upgraded OK on both my XP/SP3 systems which were at 3.0.0.18 that started out as ClamAV 2.0.18.3 back in Nov 2010 and all upgrades in between. One annoyance remains that I'll post up in the support forum. Cheers!

sweidre
Hi everyone, Immunet 3.0.1.6056 has been officially released as of 1:00 PM MST, April 13/2011! Hi RobT, My Immunet Free Eng v.3.0.0.18 (without Clam or Tetra) was automatically updated (overwritten) to Eng v.3.0.1.6056 without any problems at all! Previous settings were kept! Thanks a lot! (Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit). I have the following directories: C:\Program files\Immunet\3.0.0\ C:\Program files\Immunet\3.0.1\ Can the first folder 3.0.0 be deleted now? Rob.T
I'm afraid there was a a bug in the 3.0.1.6056 release: the Last Updated icon in the Immunet Interface always displays a yellow check mark along with a "Not Updated" status, even though it's fully updated. This bug only affects users that upgraded from a previous versions, and does not affect Immunet's virus definition update mechanism (i.e. your virus definitions are in fact up to date, even though the interface indicates they are not). This bug does not affect anyone installing Immunet for the first time, or who manually uninstalled before installing the 6056 version. Due to the forum feedback and volume of support calls we've received for this issue we released a new version 3.0.1.6112 on March 14/2011. Users who currently have 6056 installed will *not* be prompted to download this version and instead should apply the following workaround: ------------------------------ 1) Open an elevated command prompt by clicking Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator" 2) Copy following lines below, right-click on the Command Prompt window and select paste to run them (make sure to hit enter if the last line doesn't run): net stop immunetprotect copy /Y "c:\Program Files\Immunet\update\Plugins\update.txt" "c:\Program Files\Immunet\tetra\Plugins\update.txt" net start immunetprotect 3) Now, open Immunet and wait for it to connect to the cloud - once you are connected the Community icon should will turn green and you will see the Community message at the top saying 1 million users protected from 23 million threats. Click the Update button - when the update finishes you should see the update icon change from yellow to green. ------------------------------

dallas7
I'm afraid there was a a bug in the 3.0.1.6056 Don't you think think this would have been best served by a separate "Immunet 3.0.1.6112 Released" posting?? Had I not stumbled on seeing that version burried in another posting, I would never have known of it. I'm not alone in this as other posts here and in the old getsatisfaction forums point(ed) out, it's time you guys got serious about "Release History" and change log info at support.immunet.com. Really... get on it! Cheers.

Front page -> Community -> Notices -> Updates! Reason: Not only forum members should be informed about new updates; also the other 1,260,000 users out there should be informed about all official updates! cheers, sweidre
