sweidre
Hi, Just now, the main window of Immunet shows 1,290,043 members protected from 23,363,695 threats. Question: What is the Number of Members really showing? 1.) The total number of software downloads? 2.) The total number of software installations? 3.) The total number of registered members? 4.) The total number of registered members online? 5.) The total number of members once registered minus the number of members, who have uninstalled Immunet for good? 6.) ?????? Cheers, sweidre PS. I am wondering, because the number of members protected is either not changing or increasing only. I have never seen the number decrease? sweidre
Hi again, This post of mine is approximately 7 hours after my previous post on this thread. Whar worries me, is that Immunet Protect is still showing: 1,290,043 members protected from 23,363,695 threats. So during 7 hours these figures have not changed at all! That no members have not been added, is not serious, but the number of threats is!! Not a single threat has been added to the Immunet cloud-database! I thought, that Immunet really put the emphasis on zero day threats! It is evident, that the cloud over the Rocky Mountain Area is not working now! Conclusions: 1.) At least the cloud-server cannot be left without any control over weekends and longer holdays (now we are celebrating Easter). This shows a missing resposibility by Immunet. 2.) Immunet must leave their current not sufficient work schedule: US Mountain Time Mon-Fri 9-5. Immunet must cover 24/7! At least the core functions must always be monitored! 3.) It is now really dangerous to rely upon one single security product only (Immunet) in our computers. (At least two are necessary, maybe three to be on the safe side) Cheers, sweidre PS. This matter is really embarrising for Immunet, so I advise, that when read by admins & mods, this thread should be moved to a hidden area in the forum not subject to preying eyes by public visitors, Google, MSN/Bing, Alexa, Yahoo or other search engines. Note, that the contents of this forum is published publicly! DS
sweidre
Hi, This post #03 is one hour after my previous post # 02, and still the number of members protected is unchanged!! The cloud-based number of threats is also unchanged! I wonder as I wander.... sweidre PS. Does nobody from Immunet staff visit this forum? I cannot from Europe take any action at all! Computers are threatened even during weekends and holidays, but Immunet does not care! DS
aroe
To ease your fears, the community metrics on the user interface (UI) are generated by a separate process than the process that adds detections and members to the cloud. Due to how the metrics are generated, errors in these fields are cosmetic (although I can see why you were worried). We have identified the problem and are working on a fix for you. Thank you for reporting this Sweidre, and apologies for any concerns caused. We do browse the forum frequently, I will try to reply more frequently so that you know that you are being heard. Best regards, Anthony
